Nothing in my heart

So I spent my morning doing another of before and after Embrace portrait. Some of my characters who are not Nosferatu don’t look too different from their human self, like Greta she is just a paler version of herself XD With other characters the change is much more pronounced, like Adrianna. Except her sire nobody would guess her for this cheerful village girl she used to be a long time ago.

She lost herself more and more with months, years, decades and centuries passing by. She learned how to survive in a world filled with monsters, never letting anyone seeing her weakness and when seeing signs of weakness in others, making it her opportunity, like with Theodor. Her unlife is filled with expensive dresses, jewelry, high society, art, fake smiles, hatred, intrigues and pretense.
On one hand, she hates being around other people and vampires all the time,but she also fears being alone as then she has the time to let her memory wander and bitterness fills her cold dead heart. The memories of her simple life, loved ones are fading and even that she wrote some of her memories on the pieces of paper, they crumble to pieces with age. When they are gone, nothing but hatred and lust for revenge will remain in her. She is not an evil character, she just thinks that the world owns her for the life it took from her.
